We had a positive experience with MD Pro Contracts who provided a full roof and gutter replacement, repointing and installation of skylight windows. Shortly after we made an inquiry, Martin arrived to conduct a drone survey of the property. The drone was a great way for us to have the same view of the overall condition of the roof whilst Martin talked us through his assessment. He paid attention to the specifics of what we were looking for (felt, battens and slate replacement on an outbuilding) and provided a competitive quote to meet our requirements. Early into the work, Martin advised that the scope of the job would be best expanded to a full roof replacement- the very poor condition of the rafters (decades old and exposed to rain due to missing ridge tiles) was only fully discovered when the old slates were being removed. We appreciated that Martin and the team spotted this and provided advice as soon as possible in order to get the best and longest lasting results. Martin reassessed the job, amended the quote, and updated the timeframe for the work. The roof replacement was completed by Martin's team in good time and in all weather. It was clear to see the years of experience being applied to each stage of the job. The clean up left the site as it was found. The finished roof looks excellent and we can proceed with the rest of our renovation work knowing the building is weatherproofed for years to come. High standard work is in increasingly high demand, and I would recommend MD Pro Contracts to anyone looking for small or extensive improvements to their property.
