After months of trying different barbers in birmingham i finally found the barber i was looking for. called 2 hours in advance and was booked in. nice quirky 'old school' atmosphere. gary asked what i'd like and executed it perfectly. exactly what i wanted done brilliantly. really knows what he's doing. didn't cost an arm and a leg either. perfect balance of time quality and price. highly recommend. so happy i found my go to barber in brum. ⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟 only thing to keep in mind is that its a cash only business. there is a free cash machine in the co-op around the corner.

I've been getting my haircuts at jake's since 1999 when i discovered the barbershop hidden behind st. paul's bar (at the time, now the rectory) in st paul's square on the edge of the jewellery quarter. i'll let my hair go to detriment before i'll try another barber! cool decor, great magazines and two of the best barbers in brum, colin and gary!

Great cut, nice chap and a good price! took lots of care to get it right, good attention to detail. was easy to book, it’s cash but only £18 for a men’s cut- £20 is good in the city!

First time i’ve had a haircut that looks good when styled and also looks good the second i get out of bed. colin also lovely guy couldn’t recommend this place enough.
