Tattu Restaurant and Bar

There was a black lady dressed in black attire not serving that I tried to smile at several times but she would look and then look away sternly or seeming mad or offended. She was at the door and completely ignored me when I said bye. The people inside near the door need more etiquette. People on the outside guarding the door were wonderful. Had about 3-4 servers ask us if we were okay and asking about food/drinks which we felt a bit too much in the space of 5-10mins. Eventually maddie our server came along, she was superb! Even added in an extra bday treat and took off a drink we didn’t like from the final bill. She was efficient, attentive and friendly. The food was nice 7/10 as it was expensive for what it was. The mocktail drinks were horrible m watery especially the ginger one. They were out of the lavender one which I wanted. The kiwi and blueberry drink wasn’t too bad. It was busy on a Saturday. The music, ambience and decor was stunning. The manager came to ask if it was all okay at the end near leaving time. Would return for a special occasion. Just hope I don’t see the lady at the door. She made me very uncomfortable. Maybe due to my race and ethnicity. Sticky toffee pudding was rich and delish! No parking too which was not too bad as it was summer X

The decoration in this place is amazing! We went for my birthday and I can definitely say it didn’t disappoint. The food was so tasty and the cocktails were delicious. The waitress (Anya) really helped to make it a special celebration. I would definitely go back.

Celebrating a birthday and served by cristiana who was lovely, attentive and had great attention to detail especially when describing each course of the shared platters we had. The cocktails were amazing, and all the staff made us feel welcome and happy, would gladly come back again excellent service - and the food was amazing especially the caramelised beef off the modern sharer and the desserts. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Had a beautiful time at Tattu..would recommend the starters of tuna,tofu,truffle chicken shumai and mains of angry bird and duck and egg fried rice. The portion sizes for the starters were fine but mains were small. Had the cherry blossom negroni and the cherry blossom dessert which again I would recommend. Overall quite expensive but the presentation,flavours and service were good. Great for special occasions.The restaurant has stunning decor. Maddie our server..she was fantastic! Loved her attitude and her service.

We came for a very special occasion, food was all very tasty. The price is very top end £130 plus per person, but that’s okay for a treat. The half duck was more like a quarter, small portions for noodles, the lamb cutlets were over done, not pink but still tasted good. Our waitress was very accommodating. Overall something definitely to try,
