We booked to go for dinner. the view is beautiful and the decor is amazing we got a nice table by the window. the food was really good. the service was a bit slow, our mains took about an hour to come from the time we placed the order. overall it is a lovely restraint.
Amazing venue, perfect for all occasions. you will be overwhelmed by the atmosphere, amazing views of birmingham but the attentiveness of the staff. you are the centre of this fantastic culinary experience. enjoy and appreciate all that is fine dining.
I had the most lovely experience at orelle with a large group of friends. the private dining room and service was superb. the staff were very friendly and attentive. the food was delicious and the cocktails were so nice we did our utmost to try them all. and the views are amazing. would definitely visit again.
Positives: amazing location and views managed to find table same day of booking food tastes lovely and cooked perfectly (massive thanks to back of house staff) elegant decor and presentation negatives negatives are mainly, the front of house staff, super low communication skills, inpatient and unqualified to be front of house. i was swapping seats and one of the waiters bumped into me while serving drinks, instead of waiting and taking a step back before start serving if someone is swapping seats. we were told it is a £8 pp for bringing your own cake which we had absolutely no problem with, but the frustrating thing is they didn’t even bother singing happy birthday just brought the cake and a cheap looking knife and left! definitely some areas of improvement for front of house staff, but definitely will be returning to enjoy the lovely food and views.
Amazing views, attentive service, and reasonably priced (for a tasting menu). the food was beautifully presented and much of it very very tasty. the only slight disappointment was that the chef is clearly a big fan of a particular type of lime and several courses had that flavour running through them, and that the staff (who were all lovely) were perhaps too attentive as we were out for our anniversary meal but there was someone at the table every couple of minutes. but those are very minor complaints from an overall excellent experience.
