We had an amazing experience at dishoom in birmingham! i have eaten at dishoom in london often and it’s fantastic but the service in the birmingham branch blew them out of the water. it couldn’t have been more friendly or attentive. food and drinks fabulous, i’m veggie and we took the black dhal and paneer curry which was our favourite. beautiful setting, busy even on a wednesday night. great atmosphere. we’ll definitely be back!
Dishoom is one of my absolute favorite restaurants and this is my first time in their birmingham location and it was a great experience. top notch food, great atmosphere and very courteous staff. serica, our server was delightful! she recommended a great drink and was very attentive! can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for an incredible place in birmingham to eat in!
Outstanding service and so so delicious! we have been to different dishoom restaurants in london before, but the atmosphere here seemed better. the staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent as well.
Dishoom is always super busy whenever we walked past, and has got plenty of reviews! we decided to try it for lunch, booked a table, were served fairly quickly. the atmosphere is quite nice, with lots of vintage trinkets/ products and posters. there is water provided for the table. our bill was over £140 for 4 of us which is a bit steep. they also add the service charge straight on the bill. the food was ok, not worth the price at all. some dishes were nice, others not so nice. would probably not bother going back, it’s over-hyped/ over-rated…
This place is halal but i have recently learned that they serve pork/bacon as part of the breakfast me. food is nice although on my 3rd visit, the food which i usually order tasted vastly different. reasonably priced and a good atmosphere, just a shame about the breakfast as they don't serve any non halal meat during the day so not entirely sure why they need to for breakfast.
