Tierra

I went here for lunch a few weeks ago when my sibling came up to visit for the weekend. The tacos here are genuinely some of the best I've had in the UK, although I do think they are a little expensive for the portion size. The staff were friendly and happy to explain the menu to us. The venue is nicely decorated but when we went it seemed very dark in there - they did have lights on but it was as though they were dimmed to the lowest level.

Was a pleasant enough experience. I had the weekend tacos, the meat was a little burnt but still pretty tasty. Had a side of frijoles that were very very beany. Plants looked a little sad on the windowsill they perhaps need a water. But these were the only negatives I can't really fault it too much. Would recommend and visit again. Staff were very friendly.

Tierra is super convenient. We wanted somewhere that was delicious and healthy – a harder quest than you’d think given all the great choices in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. It’s about the third time we’ve been to Tierra and what a special place it is. Consistently good. Service was super swift. The food was thoroughly tasty and healthy. Two small plates: guacamole | tortillas | two sets of tacos (beef and puy-lentil). Swilled down with two refreshing lime non-alcoholic drinks in a super informal Mexican atmosphere. And look at the bill - GREAT VALUE. It couldn’t have been more perfect. Highly recommended.

Really delicious food. Tacos are very flavourful, and the wings were tasty too. The corn was adequate. Table service was sub par, as our server could have been warmer.
