Joe quoted a price to replace our fence (6x5 foot panels) including removal of existing and replacing concrete godfathers and gravel boards. He also agreed to take overhanging trees from neighboring garden back to building line. Originally quoted as a one day job; it turned into a day and a half of very hard work for Danny & Liam with Joe chipping in on more than one occasion (don't think that was in the original quote either!). They had to dig out significant tree roots and very compacted soil in order to deliver a quality product. AND BOY WHAT A RESULT! The fence is arrow-straight and even all the way down. Joe noticed a crack in one of the gravel boards (I didn't even see it until Joe pointed it out) and a replacement gravel board was immediately delivered. They even accommodated a late change requested by our neighbor, even though it was not strictly speaking a part of the job. All for the same price! Not a penny requested up front. All rubbish removed, patio swept and left as it was found. Has made a massive positive change to our rear vista and we can't wait for the weather to improve so we can sit and admire our new fence-line! Think it is important to mention that Joe's was by no means the most expensive quote we received either. We are looking to relay our patio and re-landscape our rear garden in the next 12 months - there is only one company we will be contacting... J & SON!

Joe responded quickly on the day I phoned. He arrived and immediately identified that my silver birch tree had died - no foliage to be seen - and of serious risk of falling over. (It had been like that for the last few years.) He gave me a quote and arranged for the tree to be felled there and then. All the work carried out was done quickly and efficiently, including the removal & disposal of the tree. The team were keen to make sure I was happy with the work, and regularly asked if all was ok. I was very happy with the work and would definitely recommend.

Joe and his team saved the day! They came round after we had a bad experience with a cowboy tree surgeon and tidied up the mess he had left. He was really easy to talk to and gave us several options with different prices. We will be using him every time from now on and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a friendly, reliable company.
