Bernese School Of Theatre Dance & Drama

My grandson has attended Bernice school of dance since he was 4 years old he left to go to college and has returned to Bernice to gain his teaching qualifications . The support and training he has received has helped him to grow into a caring young man, and the friendships he has made are invaluable. His daughter now attends and she will also benefit from the same support. It has become their second home where they learn not only to dance but take care of their own bodies learn manners and respect. the syllabus and teaching is truly remarkable

Bernese School of Theatre Dance and Drama is, in my qualified, opinion the best around. Both my children, one boy and one girl, attended this Dance, Drama and MT school from a very early age, 16 years later both received scholarships at a world famous London based dance college and gone on further to work in the West End,TV, Film, Stage and Modelling and Industry. The talent of the owner and teachers are second to none and it is an essential investment that every parent needs to consider. Your child may not make it to the West End, they may not want too, but at least by participating in performing Arts they will build or channel self confidence to be able to take on the world the way they want to. I cannot recommend the Bernese School of Theatre, Dance and Drama highly enough! My daughter attended this dance school for twelve years and she genuinely loved every minute. Year after year, under the loving and professional guidance of the dedicated teachers, she grew in confidence, discipline and skill and has gone on to become a dance teacher herself down in Berkshire. As a dance mum I have very happy memories of this wonderful dance school and I still miss watching all the shows, the comps, the pantos … and not forgetting the lovely teachers and the other dance mums. Very Highly Recommended.

I have attended Bernese School of Theatre Dance and Drama from the age of 4 to 16, before going off to further professional dance training! I trained in all styles of Dance and also in Drama here. I have started re-attending recently and it feels like I’ve never been away! The teachers at Bernese School of Theatre Dance and Drama have given me the foundations to build my professional career in the industry. Everyone who works here is so welcoming and caring. You will never find another dance school who will take such a personal and perfect approach to teaching your children. Not only in how to dance, act, sing and perform, but how to be the best person possible along the way. There is a reason as to why my daughter has just started attending as well; because I’d never want her to train anywhere else!

My family have been coming to classes at Bernese School of Theatre Dance & Drama for almost 20 years and I can honestly say it’s been the best thing I could have done for my children. They all grew in confidence, they were all well prepared for high school and for times when they had to stand up in front of a classroom full of people and speak, and it’s always been a very positive experience to have friends and a supportive environment outside of school. The teachers are fantastic, all professionally trained and with a wealth of experience to teach proper technique so that the children learn gradually and safely whilst having fun; they really get to know each child and support them in whatever they want to do, just as a fun hobby, or to reach the level where they can go on to professional training for those who want that. The optional exams at the end of each grade give the children a real sense of achievement and help them to develop focus and discipline for times those are needed. The school shows are always amazing to watch, they’re at a high standard and you can really see how much the children love being on stage with their friends. Taking classes at this school is a positive experience they will remember for their whole lives and I don’t hesitate to recommend this dance and drama school.
