Would highly recommend if you are thinking of training courses for your 4 legged friend. not only was the course very professionally run, it was also fun for the owners as well as the dogs. marcia is clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about dogs and we came away with a more obedient puppy. on to the next level.

We signed up to the puppy class and it was a great course for anyone new to owning a puppy and introducing some boundaries and training. friendly atmosphere and the fact marcia is a positive trainer makes all the difference. from meeting marcia i wouldn’t hesitate to reccomend the other classes / workshops / 121s she runs and i also wouldn’t hesitate to use her again. she is imdt qualified and for anyone reading this wondering which trainer to use, if you read up on imdt and their code of ethics you’ll know you’re in good hands.

I have just completed the mentorship program at lca. it has been an invaluable experience for me. having such an experienced and talented trainer to help guide me through this stage of my training journey, has given me the knowledge and confidence to move forward. i gained experience working with different breeds and personalities, and how to adapt my technique to gain the best from each individual dog. i was also given amazing academic support to help me prepare for my additional qualifications. learning modern training techniques and being guided through implementing them in a real life, practical setting, is invaluable for anyone wanting to choose this line of work. i am extremely grateful to have been given this opportunity and will continue to work closely with lca in the future.

Our puppy has come on leaps and bounds since we have been attending the training courses at lca! when we attended puppy foundation our little guy wouldn’t concentrate on any of the commands but marcia give us directions of how to get him to ignore the other puppies within the class and always has time to answer questions or provide more guidance in helping our puppy whether it falls within the reams of the course or not. we have just graduated from grade 1 with him being able to follow commands within the training class and we are looking forward to starting grade 2 😊 thank you for all your continued help
