Blackburn Golf Club

First time at Blackburn gc today, friendly pro and and the few members we saw, nice course in good condition, some interesting holes, some you can have a blast at and some you have to position it well off the tee, we had heard of the 8th and it definitely gets you blowing at bit, excellent value and we will deffo play here again.

It's a lovely course with scenic views, look right on the tee box on the 18th and you can see Blackpool tower, course is perfect for a player who scores in the 90's, not too challenging and easily accessible pins............ I even managed to get an Eagle on the 10th.

Really nicely laid out golf course. A little of something for most mid to high handicap players. Very well maintained all round with exceptional greens for February! The staff at the course and the other players I spoke to were very friendly and helpful. Definitely on my radar for a revisit later this year.

Lovely layout, recent wet weather no doubt restricted the presentation on the day. Unfortunately food in clubhouse was awful, 4 ball each had different plates and all experienced far too much salt.
