Wilpshire Golf Club

Great golf course, very welcoming and in really good condition

As a playing member here for 20+ years, i can honestly say it's a great place to be a member. the course/greens are mainly excellent (apart from wee bits that let it down), but any club member can say this of their track. hence the 4 star review, there should always be room for improvement. professional and pro shop well equipped and indoor game assessment available. clubhouse facilities top notch, bar staff excellent and clubhouse recently refurbished. catering and choice of menu brilliant. the best till last, the members who are a great asset to the golf club.

What an absolute peach of a course can't recoment it enough. best greens i have ever played and with the amount of rain we have had lately is a miracle. and the staff in the bar after where very welcoming a very well deserved 5 stars 👍

Wilpshire gc was very nice and well worth the visit. the club house and bar was very nice with great food and drinks, friendly staff with great views. pro shop was very well stocked and very helpful. the greens where absolutely fantastic considering the dry weather recently. over all the course is very nice. a little bit hilly, some might prefer a buggy. the reason i gave it 4 stars was alot of the bunkers had hardly any sand and made it very difficult for everyone in the group, it was a shame. also its a par 69 with some short par 4s. we drove the green on a couple of them, good for scoring but i personally favour a longer course. would i visit again? absolutely 💯
