It was fabulous. had an amazing experience and the staff i had was amazing. if you are looking to sing and get your music recorded go to paul davies he was ace and made it feel natural and didn't rush things. rate it 5 stars

Three members of our family have been taught by mark the guitar teacher. my two children have been taught so well they are now proficient enough to play in a band .i am learning music theory with mark. mark is so talented and knowledgeable but he has the rare ability of a teacher not to put you down or make you feel stupid . he is the complete "right stuff ."as a teacher myself i hope i know what i am looking for ! do not hesitate in approaching darwen music school for lessons . highly recommended.

I started taking guitar lessons with mark a year ago and can’t speak highly enough about him. not only is he an amazing musician, he is also an excellent teacher. he is extremely effective, organised and patient. as a mature student, i went to mark as an absolute beginner and he has always been nothing but helpful and encouraging. from day one you get to learn songs you are familiar with, which keeps it fun! after 10 months of learning, i actually played on stage at darwen christmas lights switch on and darwen library theatre in a band with other students, something i never felt i would be good enough to do! this was such an amazing achievement for me! watching all the other acts play and sing was fabulous, the talent from the school was outstanding! it inspired my 9 year old son who was desperate to learn the guitar after watching the performances. he is now excited to be having lessons with mark as well! if you are thinking about learning the guitar, darwen school of music should be the only call you make! massive thank you mark!

I’ve been singing and performing on and off for about 20 years but never had any tuition and i always felt like i wasn’t good enough or needed to improve. i got in touch with paul and started vocal coaching with darwen school of music and i can’t tell you how exciting it is, how much i feel i’ve progressed in just a few weeks. paul is very experienced and has sung with some of original motown legends - but he is very easy to get on with, down to earth, supportive and best of all a superb teacher. if you’re thinking of music tuition whatever your age or ability then get in touch. i really enjoy my lessons and get so much value and i can’t wait to continue my journey.

Started to learn piano here with stephen for 6/7 months before moving and i’m glad i waited to get a regular spot. easy going and very helpful. would definitely recommend, there’s a waitlist for a reason :) thanks stephen
