True Physio - Blackburn

I called into True Physio Blackburn with severe neck pain going down into my arm making it very painful to move. Alison on reception was very sympathetic and reassuring making me an appointment for the next day. When I saw the physiotherapist Jack he asked me many questions relating to the pain and symptoms. He listened fully and then explained what he believed to be the cause. I had a trapped nerve Jack fully explained about the muscles and nerves that were causing my pain and the treatment plan. This included some exercises to do between sessions. These were demonstrated fully. From week 1 I could feel a difference. By week 5 I was completely pain free. Thank you Alison and Jack when I walked through that door I was immediately met with warmth and understanding. Jack you listened, you explained every step and took the time to answer my questions. At the beginning you asked me what I was hoping to get from the treatment. My reply was my life back. Well thanks to you and the team at True Physio Blackburn I have. Thank you. Best Wishes Jane

I contacted True Physio in Blackburn as I was experiencing a great deal of pain all down my left leg. Alison was able to offer me an appointment that day. Jack listened to my description of the pain and also took into account the fact that 5 months earlier I had undergone a total right hip relacement. He assessed my movement and diagnosed nerve pain as the problem. Exercises were prescribed along with manipulation and after 7 weeks of appointments, with further manipulation and adjustments to the exercises prescribed I am now pain free. Jack also took into account the fact that my left hip is deteriorating and has given me some strengthening exercises for the muscles supporting the left hip so that I can retain full mobility for as long as possible. I am so thrilled to be pain free after over 12 months and wholeheartedly recommend the staff at the Blackburn clinic.

After experiencing constant knee pain for a few months, I visited Jack at True Physio. I only wish I had gone sooner. After an initial assessment, Jack explained the issues that were causing my knee pain and the treatment plan. Jack is very knowledgeable and professional and keeps his treatment plans simple and user-friendly, making it much easier to continue treatment home. After only a few sessions, my knee pain is remarkably improved. I would highly recommend True Physio.

Jack has just completed a course of treatment on me for a back injury. It has been a brilliant experience throughout. The practice is extremely well run, professional but very welcoming. Jack has an excellent approach which complements his evident knowledge and expertise. I have felt totally informed and actively involved in my treatment. Jack has explained every step, planned the exercises and made sure I could do them correctly. I will always remember to work *to* the pain not *through* it! Just completed my physiotherapy sessions with Jack and simply put he is outstanding. His knowledge, expertise and personal approach kept me informed about my progress but also enabled me to understand my body better and ultimately undertake changes in my lifestyle that will improve my quality of life going forward. If you have any issues at all, I couldn't recommend Jack andcthe true physio team highly enough.
