Mrs Dowsons Farm Park

Amazing place , so much to do, grand children loved the dinosaur show and all the animals , the play area is brilliant, we got bit unlucky with the weather but didn't spoil anything, highly recommend this place, stick on your wellies and go and explore you won't be dissspointed.

Visited Mrs. Dowson’s farm yesterday with family. Went there for 10.30am and left at 3.40pm. Had a brilliant time there despite the weather was freezing. Loved the live lambing, feeding the animals, milking, surrounding, etc. The ice cream was outstanding. Kids and us adults absolutely loved it. Staff were very polite and friendly. Before we visited I read some of the reviews and some have mentioned that there were nothing much to do and you could easily finish looking around within an hour or two. This wouldn’t apply to those with kids and if you are someone who enjoys being with animals. It was certainly some sort of mindfulnesses. Worth the money. Many thanks!

Awesome time , it's a great place to take young kids and the family , food is great and the location is awesome I would highly recommend this place especially to families looking for something to do . The play areas are also nice with lots to do

Took my granddaughter today and had a fabulous time. Can’t fault the staff they were friendly and the food was freshly prepared. We went to the dinosaur show what a fantastic time we had, the performers were amazing, knowledgeable and took their time with the children showing each of the dinosaurs. I would highly recommend it.

We went as a family of 7. We had a great time. The larmas are cheeky and took my sons feed bag (£1 per bag)within the first 2 minutes of being in there. Make sure to hold it tight. The animals let us stroke them. They are very friendly. And look like they are well looked after. Shame we finished that part of the farm after only 20 minutes. There aren't that many animals. We went to the rabbit talk and held a rabbit. That was a bit rubbish. The woman handed around 1 rabbit between a room full of people. It's not quite as I expected. The kids played in the outdoor play area. That was amazing. It's so beautifully done. The kids had a great time there. We had a tractor ride (£3 per person). The adults liked it more than the kids. My 3 year old twins were both falling asleep. But I still recommend going on one. Great views and felt relaxing. Lasted around 10 minutes. All the staff seemed very friendly.
