Higher Bank Residential Home

The lovely staff at this residential home are so warm and caring with their residents. My Godmother was a resident here before sadly passing earlier this year. Karen, Isobel and all their staff helped her to gain weight, supported her through any illness and were amazing throughout the pandemic. I cannot thank everyone there enough for the care and comfort that they provided to their residents and visitors. I highly recommend this home and all who work here. Everyone is treated like family.

I couldn’t have asked for kinder staff and caring people to have looked after our mother nothing was to much for them showing such compaction. Mother has now past and I would like to thank you for everything you did for her. Many thanks julie

In house entertainment outings in luxury mini bus.. also many activities weekly .... crafts weekly from painting knitting to cake decorating and chocolate making days....

Our mum resided at Higherbank for 12 months before her passing. Isabel, Karen and the team could not have taken any greater care and treated her as one of the family. Sadly, mum suffered from dementia and, at times, displayed some challenging behaviour. However, the team cared for her with love, care, dignity and compassion. We could not have asked for anything better. Thank you.

I sang at this lovely family run Residential Home today. The home is a lovely semi rural setting with a beautiful Peacock, Bunny rabbits and squirrels and inside a little bird! Which makes a lovely view for the residents to see everyday. The residents seemed very happy and well after and at ease with the staff, which shows a very good level of care. There’s an abundance of activities to keep the residents stimulated from a variety of outside entertainers like myself, craft work, baking, talks etc… the home seemed very well run and safe with friendly staff and a manager who really cares about the residents.
