Household Waste & Recycling Centre

Worse experience and communication ever, arrived just after 11am on Friday and the queue was back to the main Bank Top Road, past Go Outdoors. No sign of movement and delaying other traffic in the area, people leaving the queue... I wonder if this Recycling Centre was better organised, would it reduce local fly tipping as I can see people's frustrations with delays over 45 minutes and not waiting for a slot. Update - 1 year on, moved from 1 star to 4 stars... seems better organised and the staff are friendly, helpful and polite.

I’ve always had good experience with the men at the skip yard. Happy cheerful and smiley. Always direct you to the skip if your not sure. Lately I’ve been going a lot hahah said to the man with the cap one I should get a job here as I’m here so often. 😂 not to mention the women too. overall i’ve had no issues and i think they all do a fantastic job. Keep up the good work well done, you guys also deserve a pay rise.

Disposed of a number of bags containing polystyrene & builders rubble. I am a seriously disabled person. No sooner had I parked the car, one of your work people came & carried them up the steps. Excellent caring people. This was Friday morning 21st October 2022.

Good organised team stopping people from jumping queues by failing to join line and trying to cut in with checks to ensure they are actually from the area. The system works because of the barrier which ensures you wait your turn until you're told to go. Staff are friendly and do their best to keep things moving.👍👍👍
