The Firepit Restaurant & Cocktail Bar (Blackburn)

Tried this place for the first time last night with the other half. The place it's self is very modern and clean. Staff are friendly and attentive. Good atmosphere with nice background music. We got a garlic bread to share which we both enjoyed For starters: I had herb crusted scallops with chorizo which where cooked to perfection but for me the herb crumb overpowered the dish. The other half had spare ribs which I had a bite off and can safely say they were delicious arguably some of the best ribs we've had. What impressed us most was they were served with a finger bowl .. not a lot of places do that. For mains: I had hake with hassle back potatoes on a bed of kale and celeriac purée. All cooked well and very tasty .. I'm not a big fish fan but I really enjoyed this dish. My partner had the hot stone fillet steak also with hassle back potatoes.. the fillet came out seared and you finish off cooking it to your liking on the hot stone. Fillet was good quality and hubby to be enjoyed the pepper corn sauce and potatoes. Drink wise I tried a mocktail called Indian summer which was very refreshing and finished with a cappuccino my man had peroni and a whisky (guess who was driving) All in all really good experience, lovely environment, staff happy to help and good quality food .. would definitely recommend this place.

Great food, great drinks and some of the best live music we've heard in years. Blackburn Firepit is great. Travelling over from Blackpool we expected a good night out and we definitely found it. A great mix of food, music and great times. Thanks to the Manager Jess and our waitress Ellie for great service and hospitality. Will definitely be back!!

Have visited a few times, once for brunch for my friends birthday, it was really good value for money and the food was amazing, however we did think there was a lot. I then visited today for drinks before going out, the staff were really friendly and there was a nice atmosphere in the restaurant.
