Never had a bad meal here! We ordered from the a la carte menu this time and got: Salt and pepper pork chops - insanely good, reminded me of Chinatown express in Newcastle. Garlic Pak choi, equally as good, we get this every time now. King prawns with ginger and spring onion, with soft noodles, thought I'd try a new dish and it didn't disappoint, absolutely tons of big prawns and a really tasty sauce. The only thing I'd change would be the slices of ginger, a bit too thick to eat but that's personal preference. Three meats with rice. My other half gets this every time now, a brilliant Cantonese dish of char siu, chicken and duck with a sweet soy dip and some really fresh broccoli. Nothing will beat happy seasons in Manchester for Cantonese roast meats but this comes really really close. They also do a set menu in the week with a soup, six!! starters each and a main with rice etc, a bargain at £14odd but far too much for me, I'd end up taking a load home 🤣 The buffet they do at the weekend is brilliant too, knocks the socks off the other ones around these parts and everything is always so fresh and replaced quickly 👌 The prices have gone up a little bit since the last time we went but where hasn't with the rising cost of produce and utilities? It's still very reasonable, tonight's meal was just over £20 each, and pints of Sun Lik at £3.50 is an absolute bargain, definitely recommend the place if you haven't been before.
