Really lovely staff and although my cat is a bit feisty, they have taken good care of her. Lots of telephone calls to keep me informed of what was happening. Clear pricing and estimates available. Even stayed late when I had to take her back for an injection. Very impressed and would recommend to anyone concerned about their animal.

My elderly rotty was suddenly poorly & (please read on) & obviously unhappy, Vet Alex saw her within an hour, took bloods, gave a script for her gut & phoned back with results and really helpful advice. The front of house staff are more than obliging & so friendly; I must praise Luke especially. Also, GREAT value for money - 50% less than my last vets. Sadly, Katy's kidneys had been failing for a long time and suddenly she deteriorated & I decided it was best to let her go to sleep. On this occasion the vet & staff couldn't have tried harder to make this as easy as possible. I shall always be so grateful to all at Mere rd vet practice....never known service like it. This is the best vetinary practice in Blackpool. The staff are always friendly and patient. They became a family when my precious Josh was diagnosed with kidney disease and they always made a fuss of my boy when we came for our bi weekly and then weekly appointments. I had to say good bye to my boy this week. I was devastated. They were compassionate and supportive and did not rush me. I received a beautiful card today which means so much. Thanks again for everything you did for my boy.

I have always had a fantastic service from this veterinary service. We have been coming her for over 30 years, they are so kind and professional. They did there upmost to accommodate us at short notice due to working full time. I would highly recommend them. Awesome.

Phoned to register our cat with this practice. I spoke to a lovely lady who sorted the transfer from our cat's previous vet Swiftly and within minutes our previous vet phoned to confirm we wanted to change the vet over. Very efficient service from mere vets and also sorted for a vaccine and check up for our little girl. I completely recommend this vet for your pets and on first impressions I'm glad to have our pet registered.
