Best chippy in bolton for sure, sue's lightly battered fish are restaurant quality and always cooked to perfection.
At times the chips are thin, crispy and tastes not great. not the best chips in the world. i would only go if there are no other options available
I was told to wrap my own scallop balm because i ordered two for me and and my nephew and i wanted mine wrapped separately. asked the lady politely if she could do it and she refused, threw two paper wrappers at me, told me to do it myself and walked off. after, my nephew thought he wasn't given proper change and when he mentioned it he got shouted at instead of being spoken to politely. couldn't believe it when it happened. so rude and i've been going there since i was little. pretty sure its been over 15 years. *update* the lady who works there is very nice to my nephew now. lol
Lovely food and great prices.
Came down today for lunch at 4:30, right as it opened. the prices haven’t changed with inflation so you could say they are spectacular. ordered myself a fish, chips, jumbo sausage, onion rings and curry sauce and i must say i was pleasantly surprised by the flavours. amazing till the very bottom of it. the portion sizes are pretty big and the seasoning on all of the food was done just perfectly. best fish and chips i’ve had in a while. honestly would recommend supporting this business
