No 1 South African Shop

What a treasue trove, such a range of products! Unfortunately this meant it was really busy when we visited and there was only one person working so it took ages to get served. They did have notices saying if you didn't want fresh biltong to catch their eye but with only one person it didn't seem fair. Time your visit so you aren't in a rush and enjoy your shop. We tried the ready cut biltong and it was delicious.

Being a Saffa living in UK, it was amazing to come across this shop on one of our outings to Christchurch. They have a really good selection of South African staples. Their boerewors and biltong are fantastic and just brings back good memories of home. They are definately on the list for regular visits now to stock up on SA essentials.

I was quite pleased at the variety this shop had. More than the usual SA store I frequent. I think the biltong could have more flavor options available and it is not the nicest biltong I have had in the UK, but I am very happy that they have a wide range of SA groceries available :)

Found the shop by accident as we saw it on our way to Milford on Sea. The choice of SA items, plus the meat products (biltong, droewors, boerewors) was excellent. We bought more than we planned to 😊 The shop was quite busy with Saffas & Brits.
