Stage Door School Of Dance

I have been associated with Stage Door for many years now and I have to say that I find the review that stated that a teacher had ‘dug her nails’ into a child’s head very strange indeed. I have never witnessed anything like this happening and cannot believe that it would happen. I notice that the reviewer also gave another dance related organisation one star, perhaps this says more about the reviewer than the organisations being reviewed! Stage Door is an excellent school which is run in a very professional way. It is this professionalism that means that children get the opportunity to perform in pantomime, not something many schools can claim.

My daughter has been going to Stage Door since the age of three; she is now 12 and still attending ballet, tap and modern classes: Stage Door have become a like family to her and she loves her teachers and has made some lovely dance friends along with way. There is a wonderful opportunity to take part in the local panto at the Pavilion as well as summer schools and shows. The teachers are very professional and still continue to have an excellent reputation. Highly recommended dance school.

I started having lessons at Stage Door when I was 4 years of age. I couldn´t stress more how fantastic and professional this dance school is. I had the privilidge to perform in many professional pantomimes which enriched my childhood and gave me experience and confidence to perform in front of a big audience. I owe so much gratitude to all the teachers at Stage Door for teaching me and making me feel like part of a family. I highly recomend Stage Door School Of Dance to any parent searching for a friendly, family and professional teaching environment. This Dance school without any doubt provides superb dance training.

Stage Door is a fantastic dance school with professional teaching for ballet, tap and modern. My daughter has been coming here for dance lessons for years and has progressed really well, as have the others in her class. She has also been able to perform in the panto at the Bournemouth Pavilion via Stage Door. If you're looking into a dance school for your child, I highly recommend Stage Door.

I have been at Stage door since I was 9 up until I became a uni student at Bird College this year. My time has been filled with so much joy and opportunity to be myself. Not only was I taught how to dance at a professional standard, but I was also able to bring my full unique self to every class. The atmosphere that they create at Stage Door made me feel so safe and I could always dance to my hearts content. I felt almost as family to them and for that I will be forever grateful. In my time at Stage Door, I was able to achieve Distinctions in all of my dance exams up to and including my Intermediates in Ballet and Modern and my Advanced 1 in Tap averaging 90 in all of my exams. I wouldn’t be the man I am today both physically and mentally without these people and I would highly recommend their dance school to anyone.
