Calm Down Dawg

We were at the point with Rusty where our walks were awful - he would lunge, pull and bark at other dogs, people, cyclist etc. He’s so strong and was impossible to control. I had been working with multiple trainers previously but hadn’t seen any improvements. Working with Will has been a complete game changer. After our first session we had a new approach that really worked with Rusty, we had more control which enabled us to work on his reactivity. We’ve recently started training with the ecollar so that we can work towards being off the lead - and we’re finally seeing an improvement and consistency with his recall. Initially, I was apprehensive about the balanced dog training approach but am so glad that we found Will. I had tried for years to follow positive reinforcement training but it didn’t work for Rusty with his high energy and high prey drive. Our walks have completely transformed and are finally an enjoyable part of our day Thanks Will!

Will is an amazing dog trainer / behaviourist, highly recommend. I have a rescue puppy from Romania. Lovely friendly dog but because of her background on the streets she has some behaviour issues. Two biggest are: a) jumping up at everyone she meets (just want to play), very bad with young children b) not wanting to walk to heel or rather just pulling all the time I went to a local recommended trainer and she was very nice but after 2 months of "reward only" based training we had achieved nothing except "sit" and "leave it". The jumping up was becoming a real issue as she was knocking over children etc. I was being to think " I can't keep her if we can't fix this". I then found Will on Facebook and saw several videos were he had solved similar problems before. From the moment Will meet me and my dog I was reassured he understood that the problem and had solutions. He balanced dog training methods have worked wonders on Ella. It hasn't been easy and we have had to try several different ways but she is so much better already. She now walk to heel nicely and does react too much to passing digs / children people etc. The jumping up is better though we are having another session on this soon And she now as a good recall, not perfect, but 9/10 times she comes back to me if I follow Wills training. In short Will has saved my dog, I'm sure that without his help I would not have been able to keep her. Now we have a puppy that is pretty well behavioural and importantly getting better every day. We cannot thank Will enough! After moving into our new house, our Obi found visitors completely stressful. He would bark, lunge and growl at anyone who came round, making us feel completely anxious about friends and family visiting. Not only was it worrying that he would bite someone, but so sad that others weren't meeting the lovely pup that we both adore. We were recommended Will by a friend, and straight away he gave us reassurance right from the first phone call. After meeting us and Obi, Will gave us new strategies, rules and boundaries to put in place at home and within weeks we noticed a massive difference. Every question or doubt, Will was on hand to reassure us and remind us to trust the process. Throughout our training sessions, he gave us advice and guidance. 6 months later, we have recently invited some friends around, and were absolutely speechless with the calm behaviour that Obi displayed. He lay down near our guests, listened to the commands we gave and barely barked! We couldn't believe it! Although there is still more work to be done, we are amazed at the changes we've seen in Obi. Not only are we much happier and less stressed, but most importantly, Obi is too! Thank you Will!

Will was very good and in very short time improved our dogs confidence. She walks much better on lead, recall is better, is less anxious and her barking is much more controlled. There is still some way to go but big improvements. The introduction of an E collar definitely brought positive results. It is an effective training tool, which has some bad press but in our experience it works, it helps the dog feel more confident.
