My parents had a power failure to 5 appliances in their kitchen. The main board hadn’t tripped, so after some trouble shooting, I quickly realised, we would need to call a professional electrician. I did a search on Google and chose Southern Electrical Services ( Jonathan) because of his good reviews. Thankfully I chose well. Jonathan came out within half an hour and conducted a very professional fault finding process. He found 2 issues related to the negatives within the ring main, he corrected the issues by installing a new junction box behind the integrated dishwasher where the previous wiring was a mess. Jonathan’s price for the time taken to complete these works was very reasonable indeed. I found Jonathan to be a true professional tradesperson, and I highly recommend him to anyone needing an electrical services.

We needed an outdoor cable terminated and made safe as it was tripping our circuit. Jonathan came out and fixed the problem within the hour, and was polite, professional and friendly. Thank you Jonathan!

Needed an emergency call out. Got home on Sunday evening to realise I had no power on my sockets in my house, did all the usual checks on the RCD, I couldn't figure out what was causing it, but our house had been rewired only 4 years ago (not by southern electrical services) but didn't think there would be a problem. Gave Jonathan a call. He was very good at problem solving over the phone to see if we could shortlist it to a number of issues, in the end we determined we needed him to come over and look. He was very pragmatic took care around the home, explained the reasons behind the outage, which was traced back to a fault in the wiring in the wall which we would never have found ourselves in a million years. He managed to isolate it and get us back on so we can run the household without the need for the one plug that was causing us the issue... Relief! I'd highly recommend Jonathan, did a great job. Very pleased.
