George Scott Funeral Services

We used George Scott in Somerset Road Bournemouth when my mum passed away. From the moment we made contact with them they have acted in such a professional, caring and respectful manner. We dealt with Neil and he explained everything to us at our own pace. He listened to what we would like for our mum and ensured that it happened the way we had hoped. During this time of covid it seems even more horrible to have to arrange a funeral with just a small number of people being able to attend and having to wear face masks made it tough. I can't imagine how hard funeral homes are working right now, how they must keep up with the changing and challenging legislation but these guys were all wonderful. From collecting my mum from the house, to preparing the body to be viewed to arranging the wonderful lady to preside over the service to driving us to the funeral they were perfect! Thank you Neil and your team.

Neil and his team are amazing we held the celebration of my Dads life today and they took care of all the details just as they did with my Mum 12 years ago. Nothing is too much trouble and they are real professionals and we can’t recommend them highly enough.

From the minute you both walked into dads house after mum passed away you really did put us at ease and from start to finish you were so very personable and kind it made a very difficult time that little bit easier and helped to give mum the send off she deserved. They were organizing my husband's funeral and they helped me with all the formalities, documents and obviously with the beautiful and peaceful ceremony.
