Fola is a badman ❤️ loved his service and super chill vibe. even bothered to give me a mini tour of the hotel and swiftly helped with some requests i had. i stayed here a couple weeks back for a single night so i didn't experience much, but the rooms were nice and so was the full glass view i was given. the breakfast is what you'd get in your average hilton, nothing too special, but overall this was a beautiful stay.
This was my second time staying at the hilton with family. the rooms, breakfast and service are great. reason for my 3*… i understand it’s a pet friendly hotel however there should be a policy to keep pets on leash. we were in the lift with our toddler and stopped at a guest floor and a pit bull dog walked in unleashed (no owner in sight). i didn’t feel safe standing in confined space with my child with an unleashed dog roaming about. this was on the morning of 6th september 2023.
It was okay - rooms were basic but comfortable. if you get the front of the hotel it can be loud from halo nightclub across the street. breakfast was good. the gym was quite a good gym for a hilton with sauna and pool.
Went for a spa day and afternoon tea. the spa was nice but basic. our treatments were good but the bed i had for a massage was old and very squeaky so it ruined the relaxing aspect. the afternoon was lovely but we were sat in front of a window that had previously smashed and bits of glass were falling from the window on to the floor by our table.
Stayed for two nights which ended up being two of the most horrible nights sleep over ever had. for a 4-star hotel i would have thought they would have nice beds - instead i spent the nights on what felt like an ironing board. while i don't mind a firm mattress, this had zero give in it. the rest of the stay, however, was very good. the staff were friendly and responsive, the service was excellent. breakfast was, perhaps, a little run of the mill for an upscale hotel but very good nonetheless. dinner at the restaurant was excellent. some of the other guests i was with did have to wait a very long time for their rooms. i've never experienced such late availability at a hotel before - having to wait until 5pm or later in some cases. reading other reviews, this seems to be a common theme. usually you would expect a room to be available from check-in time, or very close to. unfortunately, i can't say i'd stay here again - i wouldn't sleep! but all the other features/services are very good.
