We booked richard to photograph our wedding in june 2022, and can honestly say that it was one of the best decisions we made, as his photos are absolutely beautiful and perfectly encapsulate the spirit of our day. richard was great to deal with from the beginning to the end - we had a couple of calls with him prior to our wedding and it was immediately clear that he was very organised and meticulous, ensuring that all the details of the day were covered, and giving suggestions and advice based on his extensive experience. during the wedding day itself, he had boundless energy and a knack for putting us and our guests at ease in front of the camera. many previous reviews have commented on how he's like a ninja and everywhere at once, and our photos most definitely corroborate that theory - there were many of us and our guests that we did not realise he had taken, often from both sides of the room only moments apart. one of the driving factors for choosing richard was the consistently high quality of the photos across his entire shoot, as we had seen in previous galleries of his. his highlights are just one group of amazing photos among an incredible full set. post-wedding, we received our preview in a matter of days and were blown away by how wonderfully he had captured the most special day of our lives. from the countless photos in the gallery that we love, many now adorn our walls and countertops. with perfect angles, a gorgeous tone, and his ability to capture just the right moment, richard's photos are magical. one thing we truly appreciate is how he seemed to ensure that every guest was included, and every person made a vital part of our day. every time we revisit our wedding gallery we are reminded of how richard managed to capture every smile, laugh, and tear in the room, and the joy and happiness felt by us and every guest at our wedding. thank you so much richard for giving us so many treasured memories to look back on our special day, becky & lewis

We booked richard to photograph our wedding in may, after we had encountered him at our friends' wedding last year, and it was honestly one of the easiest and best decisions we made. he is a very talented and experienced photographer who captured our day so perfectly, from all the big moments to the tiniest details. we love his natural style of taking photos, which really captures people's happiness, laughter, tears and emotions throughout the day, sometimes when they don't even realise they are being photographed (often those are the best ones)! he is also super friendly and personable so he was great to spend time with throughout the day! our wedding day was one of the best days of our life but also passed by so quickly - so we are particularly grateful to have richard's photos as such a special memento. thank you so much richard!

Richard was an absolute dream to have as our photographer at our wedding! he made sure to take absolutely fantastic photos while also making sure that we were able to maximise our enjoyment of the day. we got so many fabulous shots of our friends and family and of us as a couple too. we are forever grateful for creating these mementos that will stay with us always. not only was richard calm, collected and professional but he was friendly and great to have around - plus, he's fab at recommending great wine and cheese places to go to (which is exactly what happened after our engagement shoot). thank you richard!

It has taken me a while to find the words that express how incredible richard was through the entire wedding process. even now, i'm not sure i can truly express our gratitude. our wedding was postponed several times due to covid and every time richard made changing the dates easy and was understanding throughout. emails were responded to quickly. not only was he incredibly professional, he made us feel like we were the only wedding (knowing full well he was fully booked to his eyeballs!) that he had. richard was nothing short of wonderful on the day, made everyone feel incredibly relaxed and it felt like he was part of our wedding party. the quality of his photos are stunning, i can't stop looking at them. they were exactly what we wanted, natural, colourful and full of joy. these pictures will last a lifetime and i will forever be grateful for richard. thank you! mellina and tom (2.7.22)

I'll be the first to say i was very particular when it came to choosing a photographer, and richard's work blew me away! we're absolutely thrilled with our photos. they beautifully capture the atmosphere of the day, and he really thought of everything. so many guests mentioned what a brilliant job he did; he was discrete, polite but great fun, and somehow managed to be everywhere at once, capturing everything as it happened. can't recommend him enough.
