The visitor centre contains a good, small museum about the history and geology of the area (free, but donations welcome) and a gift shop, including interesting books and useful guides. a short distance away is a car park and hiker café. a paved pathway leads up to a viewpoint, a national coastwatch station and beyond to the spit.
Great beach dog friendly, pushchair friendly there is cafe near by, two car parks pay and display. toilets near by the cafe. we do walk all around with our dog 🐶😊

Beautiful headland and beach, very blowy today though! visitor centres both have toilets and ice-cream, one has a cafe. lovely place to visit and best of all very dog friendly 🐾
Completely dog friendly and such good fun for the whole family and enjoying the fresh air. if you are a family that go on holiday with your four legged family i highly recommend going here. there is a cafe and public toilets so take your time there. payment for the carpark is card only.
