I saw Julia for an assessment of my feet and nails. She gave me a full examination and cut my nails and removed some hard skin. She provided some excellent advice about treatment options and emailed me a written report that I was able to take to my GP for the medication I needed. Julia is very engaging and professional and I highly recommend her services.

Having been running for 50 years and 40 without socks, it was time again for me to reduce the hard skin on the balls of my feet. However, this time, the pummice stone wouldn't touch it, so I tried the blade of a pair of scissors, still no good. The only thing left was a razor blade. Ouch!! Not only did it take some skin off it left me with severe pain and inflammation. So finally I had to visit a Podiatrist. Being slightly anxious and not knowing what to expect I was immediately put at ease with Julia who went about her work with professional ease and what I can only say to have a gentle touch. A phrase which like me only those of a very mature age will remember from a TV series from the early 70s featuring a female detective. As far as the lack of socks were concerned she told me that it was not a good idea as the sweat from the feet does not get absorbed and not only encourages hard skin but also Athletes Foot. Sound advice. I cannot recommend Julia enough.

I discovered Bournemouth Podiatry during my time studying at Bournemouth University. On two occasions, I sought treatment for ingrown toenail removal, and during both visits, I was consistently impressed by Julia's exceptional level of treatment and professionalism. A few months later I unfortunately experienced a reoccurrence of the ingrown toenail, which led me to consider the necessity of removal surgery. Throughout this process, Julia's remarkable blend of affability and professionalism provided me with a sense of comfort, and she ensured I remained well-informed about each step of the process. I highly recommend Julia for anyone seeking podiatrist treatment!

Julia was fantastic. I had had so many injury problems with running and was at the end of my tether. I had seen multiple physios, chiropractors, but just felt they were all giving me generic advice and nothing was working. Julia was the first person i felt actually listened to me and was so thorough. She was amazed I hadn’t had my leg measured (broken leg in the past) and gave me a wedge for my running shoe. I have been injury free now for 2 blissful years and i completely credit Julia for that! I go back to see her for “tune ups” and to check just in case she has any expert advice. I cannot recommend her enough, a total bargain! Andy Brodrick
