Maths Tutor

Di is tutoring my twin 11 year boys, who both find maths a real challenge and have never really enjoyed the subject. However Di's exceptional teaching approach has helped them to view maths in a different light. Her clear explanations and her encouraging style have helped to significantly improve their understanding of particular topics. Di takes the time to understand the pupil's individual needs and tailors her on-line lessons accordingly, so that her sessions are targeted and as helpful as possible. She has a wealth of experience in teaching maths and a lovely manner with children, which both come across in abundance. Di takes a lot of time in preparing her lessons and goes over and beyond to ensure her pupils are gaining maximum benefit. Di is a professional throughout.

Di is simply marvelous. She has been teaching our daughter now for many years and her positivity and kind, understanding approach has changed our daughters outlook to math's beyond our wildest dreams. Once a feared subject to now a loved one. Highly recommended and we will be using Di in the future for our sons tuition too (when the time comes).

Di Hardwick is very knowledgeable on her subject and very engaging. My Daughters group tuition was the same price and she went many weeks without improvement. It only took a couple of lessons with Di to start seeing the benefits of 1:1 tutoring. Di goes out of her way to ensure all expects are explains so that the understanding increases quickly, not only this, my daughter even enjoys the sessions!!

Di has been helping our son Luke with his GCSE Maths for several months now and we have been very pleased with the support she has provided. Di has been flexible, understanding and accommodating when unforeseen circumstances have meant lessons need to be rescheduled. She is great at planning, preparing and emailing lessons and worksheets in advance, making sure these are tailored to gaps in our son's learning. Di is focused and maintains a good pace, filling every minute of the lesson. She then provides copies of work completed so our son (who is not the most organised) has a record. Our son was initially apprehensive about working with a tutor but Di quickly put him at ease. She is very encouraging and our son's confidence and ability has definitely grown as a result of her input. We would not hesitate to recommend Di to any other parents seeking a Maths tutor for their child.
