Fantastic service from start to finish. a warm welcome at the entrance, great atmosphere, clean, tidy, and the food was just epic! we have to mention the server megan, she went the extra mile to make my birthday meal a great one. thanks, megan!
Firstly the service here was great, the staff are well trained in the menu and how the meat is cooked and prepared. this is reassuring and really made a difference with ordering. secondly the food and drink is great, and of course the steak is, as you can imagine, cooked to perfection. plenty of wine to match your order and served by the glass and bottle. the environment is good with split level seating, you may consider wearing a top as the aircon can be chilly, although there is a number of seats to choose from. although not the cheapest restaurants, i did think it was good value for the extra paid, and worth the treat. thanks for a good time!
Had a meal here wednesday evening whilst visiting and it was devine. they accommodated well for a family with a baby and both food and service was top notch. steak was cooked perfectly and the quantity of food was amazing value for money. was our first miller and carter but definitely won't be our last!
First ever visit to m&c for our anniversary celebration. steaks were cooked to perfection. andrea's service was friendly and professional. a delightful treat, representing great value on the daytime menu. many thanks.
I am giving 3 stars as there were a few issues that stop me giving more. the starter of chicken wings are advertised as hot, i asked the waitress who told me there not really that hot, just a bit of a kick (this suites me as don't do hot and spicy), well to me there isn't even a kick, so not as advertised, not even close. main course the 7oz rump was 30% fat, 70% actual meat. it was cooked well, medium rare. the chips were undercooked and hard in the middle. the very polite waitress offered to get fresh but i declined as the meal would be finished by the time they came out. the restaurant is lovely inside, staff very friendly. service was a bit slow, but to be fair it got quite busy in the time i was sat. would i eat here again, probably not. it wasn't bad but it also had too many issues to be classed as good.
