Tiien Thai Restaurant

I hadn’t googled any information about this restaurant - we happened to walk past it one day and thought we would give it a try. However, what struck me immediately was the mellow ambiance and having now looked at their website, I see that their website describes this perfectly. The warm, tasteful decor with subtle background music combine with a sense of spaciousness to make this a place we felt both at home yet spoilt in. We loved our table in the bay window and the comfortable chairs and had we discovered this restaurant before our last evening, we would definitely have returned. Before I mention the food, I must also comment on the professionalism of the serving staff .. everything happened so seamlessly and we really appreciated the attention to detail - cutlery and serviettes replaced after our delicious starter without us even noticing at the time. The food here was amazing - we all loved the aromatic duck starter which was plentiful and well-priced, whilst the chicken curry provided a deliciously subtle blend of flavours I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Bournemouth and would like to thank the staff here for such a lovely evening.

I had the best Tiger Prawn Pad Thai here. I would definitely go back here just to eat their Pad Thai again. Their Goong Talai was great as well. My husband ordered their beef stir-fried which is also good and I think was not really that spicy. They have high chairs if you wish to bring your kids. Set menus are also available here. Price was reasonable for the quality of food.

Amazing!!! Came here on Sunday 31st July for dinner with my partner, the staff were so friendly and presented in traditional clothing which gave it a more authentic feel. The service was very good and the food was literally to die for. It was amazing, we had the Set Menu A and the starters and main courses were delicious with very good portion sizes plenty to share between the 2 of us. Honestly the best restaurant. Highly recommend. Couldn’t fault them. We’re just gutted it isn’t closer to home in London because we know if it was we would be regulars here. Definitely coming back next time we’re in Bournemouth

Fantastic Thai restaurant. Service couldn't have been better and all the food was delicious. Definitely recommend the massaman and yellow curry. Portion sizes were very generous and the prices more than reasonable. Good vege options as well. Would 100% recommend and if back in Bournemouth would come back again
