Urban Shanti Community Studio

Jamii is the most fun, committed, multi passionate teacher I know! She goes out of her way to connect with everyone on an individual level. The classes are so fun and everyone gets what they need from them. It’s all so reasonable too! The studio is really gorgeous and it’s even easy to park so you can’t go wrong really.

The studio is honestly my favourite place! The lady who owns urban shanti is not only lovely and friendly, but she creates the most amazing inclusive/ welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like you are part of a family. The classes are not only affordable, but they also really high quality and I always feel amazing after every class. It’s not just a class or a studio that you attend it’s a community. I have been coming to the classes at urban shanti for the last three and a half years. I always look forward to the classes at the studio and every time I go into a class, I’m surrounded by such welcoming and caring people. Not only do I get to deepen my practice and work on myself, but I also have the opportunity to meet new people who share the same love and energy for yoga and the other classes that I attend. The community vibe is honestly amazing and it’s like joining a family of best friends! I can’t recommend it enough! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have been coming to this studio for over a year, and I can only say it's one of the best things I could have done for my mental and physical health. Jamii is a wonderful and passionate teacher who really cares about her students well-being, and this is obvious during every class. She also tailors each class to the abilities and experience of her students so that nobody will feel left out, and always makes sure everyone is safe whilst doing so. It's been a wonderful experience so far!

I've enjoyed many of the gravity yoga lessons and l love the way the class is conducted. It's one of my favourite classes and the confidence you get from the yoga session is incredibly satisfying. Doing poses that you never thought you would be able to do. Wish I could go more often.
