Grand Cru Restaurant

Nov 2022. Visit here every year during my annual visit to the region. I like my IPAs and the Monsoon IPA from Leeds Brewery did not disappoint. For my starter the Goats Cheese Galette was most enjoyable. However, the Ribeye steak stole the show. I asked for medium rare and it perfectly cooked. Nov 2021. Fabulous restaurant!!! The staff are super helpful and attentive. Menu is very modern, fresh and healthy. Bar has great selection of drinks. Decor is new and upmarket reminding me of a high end cruise ship. All covid measures are being taken including mask wearing by all the staff and extensive wipe down of all tables after use.

I recently dined at this restaurant and I can confidently say it was one of the best culinary experiences I've had. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere was cozy, and the food was exquisite. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. I highly recommend trying the chef's tasting menu, which showcases the restaurant's impressive range of dishes. The wine list was extensive and well-curated, and the sommelier was knowledgeable and attentive. Overall, this restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way and I cannot wait to return. A five-star dining experience!

This restaurant used to be the village Co-op but you would never know when you're inside. Lovely, tasteful decor, large chandeliers and a decadent ambiance but also with a relaxed feeling, the restaurant and toilets were all spotlessly clean. The staff are so friendly and really take the time to make sure you enjoy your experience. Now onto the food and drink there was plenty of choice across all of the courses and an extensive range of soft and alcoholic drinks. The food we ordered came in a very timely manor and was delicious. The prices were pretty reasonable and we will definitely be back to try the tasting menu.

A quality establishment. Enjoyed a fabulous lunch for my mum’s birthday. Staff lovely, food excellent. We were too full for pudding, so, Chef surprised my mum with a beautifully decorated ‘happy birthday’ plate complete with candle embellished mini brownie - a lovely touch.

Wanted to go here for ages. It's beautifully decorated with chandeliers and subtle mood lighting . We were offered a chance to get drinks at the bar or take out seats, which we did, and the staff were so lovely. They came with water and menus quickly and gave us the right amount of time to look at the menus. We ordered some wine which was lovely and the food order was taken soon after. The food was delicious, and the starter was huge. I had scallops in a bisque, and the 2 types of bread that came were warm and really spongy and fresh. The main course was cooked perfectly!! And we were too full for pud this time. No starter next time or something smaller!! This was a lovely evening, and we will deffo go back
