Best Friends Pet Dog Training and Behaviour

I've only been coming a few months but was welcomed warmly. Jan has Good contact via online , explained all her methods and classes . Invited me for a trial. Nice venue safe and warm . Kind positive methods . Alot of brain work for the dogs not the old fashioned walking round in circles doing Heelwork for an hour. Each class is different and her Behavioural knowledge is also very good especially with Rescue dogs. Clicker training basic skills problem solving lots to keep a dog from getting bored . Dogs enjoy it and that's a good sign.

We started going to Jan's classes as our dog was a little anxious around other dogs. We found the training focused her attention and didnt stress about the other dogs. Hol enjoyed the training so much and it keeps her mind active that we have now been going for about 10 years! Jan is great with the dogs. If they seem stuck she will just alter the approach to help them succeed and carry on. Holly is now 12 and as bright as ever.

We took our puppy to Jan's classes, and what we learned was eye-opening and invaluable, the result of which is we now have a happy, well-socialised, biddable dog. Jan is very friendly, approachable, obviously passionate about what she does, and full of knowledge about dogs and dog training that she's happy to share. I can't recommend her and her classes enough.

I’ve been taking my dog to Jan’s classes for almost 6 years now, which pretty much speaks for itself. The classes are a fun way to train and socialise our dogs but Jan also gives us an invaluable insight into their behaviour and helps us to understand the best ways to keep them emotionally happy and healthy. I’ve been taking my dogs to Jan’s classes for over 3 years & I cannot recommend her highly enough. She’s patient with the owners & very clearly loves the dogs (& they absolutely adore her)! My two have learned so many useful behaviours and fun tricks but most importantly, Jan has taught me how to communicate with my dogs!
