Big Dog Fellas | Dog Training

Oscar, my 2 year old Belgian Malinois was constantly pulling on the lead, had to be out in front on walks, went where he wants, sniffing, reacting to other dogs… it was not an enjoyable experience, taking Oscar for a walk. Went for a training session with Big Dog Fellas, it was transformational !! Incredible, it’s like walking with a different dog, he is walking perfectly to heel on a loose lead. No stress or fuss. This was after one session. Brilliant. Can not recommend Mudge enough. He explained what he was doing at every step.

Had issues with our Labrador being reactive/aggressive to other dogs & occasionally people. Met with Mudge and sorted out the behavioural issues with some great training. By the end he was walking through the park not even reacting to other dogs off leads running up to him. Highly recommended.

Cassie our border collie had issues with pulling on the lead and was very reactive with people and dogs. I got to the point where I loss all confidence with her and could no longer walk her. Wow, after one short session with mudge I have learnt so much and feel like Cassie is a different dog already. Mudge was so nice, knowledgeable and very understanding. It shown in his teaching the love and dedication he has towards dogs. I have been on my first walk in months with Cassie and I’m so grateful I can now do this without anxiety and fear and be fully in control! Would highly highly recommend! Thank you so much!

Took our 14 month old leash puller German Shepard Otto to Mudge after seeing the wonders he performs. First thing in the morning and after a 2 hour car ride Otto was full of beans and pulling The hardest he’s ever done before, nose to the ground with no engagement at all to us. Within 20 mins of Mudge explaining how to correctly use the collar and showing us how to correctly communicate with the dog through the leash and collar there was already an amazing transformation with Otto’s engagement and walking to our heel. Spent a further couple of hours really nailing down this method and Otto was walking beautifully at our side by the end. Really happy with the results and Mudge’s training method and I’d recommend anyone with similar issues to get in touch!.

What a great experience we had today. I have been having issues with Bear my 3 year old rottweiler out on walks, pulling on the lead reacting to other dogs, squirrels and people on bikes. Within minutes of arriving we had been shown how to use the collar correctly and the art of loose leash walking with the basic commands. Our dog walk has gone from being a nightmare and something we all dread, to being able to walk him with distractions during the day in a busy park. Would highly recommend to anyone! Well worth the travel from Chesterfield!
