Edwin Pounds & Sons Funeral Directors

I would like to share my experience with Edwin Pounds with you all. I have had one of the best times sorting my funeral plan out,and such a laugh doing it. Simon and all his colleagues were absolutely fantastic,and such fun to work with. I know it sounds extraordinary, but I've had such a great time sorting out my funeral. From day one it's been a happy experience and full of laughter, to take all the stress away from my children when my time comes has been amazing. All they have to do is turn up 😁 I have made plans and wrote further instructions down for a 1980s themed funeral, fancy dress is optional but bright colours have to worn. This has been so much fun in planning it and I would 💯 % highly recommend Edwin Pounds to everyone. I would also advise people to take out a funeral plan no matter what age you are, prices are just increasing all the time. Can I also add that Edwin Pounds were almost a £1000 cheaper than the big companies,and I have everything I want and need.My experience has been a pleasure, and if anyone would like to ask any questions I'm right here. I am not one normally for writing reviews, however after the way Edwin Pounds & Sons took such care in my Mums funeral I felt this was the least I could do in return. From the minute we called Edwin Pounds & Sons there service was delivered in a personal, yet professional manner. Simon took great care in listening and advising us on what was needed to be done and when, hover they just took the worry away and did just about everything. The cars were immaculate along with all the staff, nothing was too much effort. and Mums funeral went off without a hitch. Big thank you to Simon and all the staff for what they did for us.

I sadily lost my 5 week old baby in may, me and my husband went in to plan his funeral and we were so glad we chose Edwin pounds, Brigid who helped us was amazing and very professional she went above and beyond for our baby she cared for him like he was her own. We were so greatful that we chose Edwin pounds to care for our baby and arrange his funeral, everything was perfect as could be and it was all very professional. we still have on going support from Brigid in the wibsey branch. Our baby was also at the Greengates branch and I was always greeted by paul when I went to see my baby he was very professional and made me feel at ease before and after visiting. I would recommend Edwin pounds over and over again, thank you for all you have done for me and my family we will forever be Greatful to you

I could not thank everyone at Edwin Pounds enough, Jordan firth in particular, I am 23 years old and never expected to be having to plan my pops funeral but Jordan was so supportive in everything, answered all my questions I had with no hesitation and took a great weight off my shoulders in planning my pops funeral and explaining everything to me, my pops had such a beautiful service, flowers, and it was very respectful, clean and just beautiful all around! I would highly recommend and couldn’t thank this place enough!
