Absolutely amazing service by amin! the food was also exceptional. the staff were happy to close at 11pm instead of 10:30, just to accommodate us. thank you once again! will surely be back

Ordered the mix platter for 2 and i did enjoy it, however the rice and couscous was less than lukewarm and got cold too fast after 10 minutes (it would’ve been better if it was piping hot and cooled down whilst we were eating but still, it was really nice). the best part was the kobeda and the ribs, some of the best ribs i’ve had - flavour was amazing. the shawarma that came with it was also really good and one of a kind - different to the standard shawarma shops, in a good way! the chicken/lamb chunks/boti on the other hand was a complete let down, really tough and dry and couple of the lamb chunks were way too tough to cut through with the knife. wasn’t that busy when we came in so i dont know why it was overcooked, then again, you should have a chef that can work well under pressure? gave the service 3 stars as there was hardly any service around, once you ordered and received your food, you were just left alone. some people like that but i really do hate having to wave my arm around to grab the attention of a waiter/waitress for something. atmosphere was fine - really liked the deco, chairs were very comfy too.

We went to this restaurant for the first time to celebrate my husband's birthday. great ambience, service was quick. food was good. portion sizes are good. the only set back was even if we were told no beef and pork in the hot shared platter, we were served beef and we could have eaten that if we had not rechecked the dish again. so highly recommend your waiting staffs to train about the menu and kitchen staff to check the menu while delivering it.

Nice restaurant with very good quality food. clean and spacious. meat on jumbo platter was a little thin but still good. nice salad and sides. family friendly.

Aside from the plethora of takeaways in bradford, istanbul restaurant is one of the few sit down turkish restaurants that you can frequent. it makes a refreshing change from the usual smorgasbordl of curry houses to choose from we were a party of eight and decided to come here on a sunday evening for some food around 6 p.m. we didn't have to wait at all for a table and seated quickly. we did not book in advance. pros: portion sizes are large good selection of starters super attentive staff reasonable prices cute ambience cons: mixed grill lacks flavour parking isn't easy to find stuff wasn't too knowledgeable about the authentic food choices
