In Plaice

Asked for a fish that was on the restaurant menu only, but I needed takeaway. They were happy to accommodate, with a small wait time to cook. Added to a large chip portion (it was about 2pm and I'd skipped breakfast) All in all less than £9 takeaway. Possibly the best fish and chips I've had for ages.

Always cooked as you can request. Friendly staff. Facing the City Hall clock, I can keep time for catching my hourly bus there.

Decent food. Wanted to eat in but they only do take away after 6 (did not see any notices to state that). Service was OK and fish cooked fresh. We had a meal deal and portions OK.
