Peking Chef Brentwood

The menus are clearly laid out on the website with a choice of collect or delivery. Chose Set meal E for 2 and was pleased with our choice. Food was hot and tasty. Ordered by phone, was told it would be ready for collection in 20 mins and it was. Cash or card. Staff were efficient and friendly too.

Food was kinda bland. Curry sauce had no flavor and chow mein and Singaporean rice were similar. The Prawn crackers were the highlight

We always order from this Chinese place as we prefer it to the other ones in Brentwood. Food is good although they’ve increased their prices but I guess it’s a sign of the times, also very quick delivery most of the time if not all the time. Will probably continue to order once a while.

We spent £81 on Chinese food yesterday here and it was so fresh, hot and tasty.Plenty for the money feeding 7 people. The front of house was extremely happy and welcoming. We will defiantly be back thank you so much. Highly recommend

Not sure what the one stars are about. I’m Chinese and have tried Chinese takeaway from different places, it’s so hard to find authentic Chinese food even though takeaways are everywhere! My family and I love this takeaway place from the first time we ordered, the food are always so delicious. Even my partner that’s not Asian said that this takeaway is by far the best one. We usually order king prawn chow mein, salt and chili chicken, hot and sour soup (I’ve been trying this in all diff kind of Chinese shops and they do the best one here - not overly sour, the spicy and sourness balance are just right with good amount of veg and meat in it!) , and veggie dishes like the special Malaysian ones. Staff are also so friendly and every time I order I get my food in about 15 mins (collection)
