Marygreen Manor Hotel

Impromptu visit for tea and coffee, great historical building with great service. Michael was out server and he was a pleasure to speak with. The carrot cake I'd definitely a must try, absolutely delicious. The outdoor space is also very tranquil.

Went here for a wedding lovely setting . Food really lovely. Wedding arrangements very well carried out. Then the evening reception not so good sadly the bar actually in hotel was shut and the bar where the evening reception was held was staffed by one bar steward most of the time who was rushed off his feet with long queue and it actually took me 45 mins to get our drinks !!

Excellent afternoon birthday tea here today with a ninety five and ninety year old. Wheelchair access straight forward and parking not an issue.. Both food and service excellent. Cannot comment on bedrooms but conservatory and bar area very welcoming.

We had a cream tea, 40th anniversary. Delicious. Would recommend. Staff were great but bar man was on his own quite a lot, so serving and clearing tables. A little unfair on him, but he was very helpful and cheerful at all times.

We only stayed one night at Mary Green Manor to be near our family, but we fell in love with the place. It was a great venue for a family meet-up in the bar and despite there being a wedding reception in progress – staff were still attentive to our needs. The rooms were like chalets, very quiet and comfortable with room service prompt and friendly. And when I left my iPhone charger in the room after we left, the reception staff promptly sent it to me by post. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending it as a lovely relaxing place to stay.
