The Brentwood Centre

Saw the English open snooker here its obviously a leisure centre most of the time ? Probably not ideal for a snooker tournament must admit the seats weren't the most comfortable but the staff were friendly enough and the quality of snooker was good .

Just watched the snooker here, was happy the snooker come to Essex but the venue was a pain. Seats where so cramped together I could not get comfortable at all. And if you want to attract hundreds of people you need facilities that can handle that. A toilet that can take 3 people at a time is dreadful, to the point I saw people going toilet outside the venue to avoid the headache of using the small bathroom!

Took a whole to get in and website showed 7pm start. Bench seating was a bit snug but I'll know next time. All that said performance was fantastic.

Visited gym as a pay as you go visitor. Great value for money. Some decent equipment, not busy when I went that you had to q. Enough free weights for non athlete's and serious weight lifters. No sauna, but reflected in price. Not a swimmer, but the pool looks great and is heated. They have spin classes etc here, so a bit of something for everyone but the most serious/committed gym goer.
