Matt has been great teaching our daughter (11). he is a great communicator and takes the time to ensure she understands the concepts he’s getting across. as her confidence is growing on drums she’s also becoming more confident in other areas. i didn’t think it would have such an impact.

Matt is a professional through and through, whether you're a beginner or an established drummer/percussionist, matt will cater for you accordingly making the learning journey productive and the best experience possible! he has all the patience and know how to boost confidence and get the best out of all his clients, whatever their age. highly recommend!

Matt has been teaching my son since sept 2021, both face-to-face and remotely. matt is an excellent teacher, is very patient and helped my son progress steadily on his drumming, without pressure and always positive.

Matt has been teaching me drums for just over year whilst we have been on tour together. he is a brilliant teacher, very patient and calm when working through difficult passages and very clear in his direction. i would highly recommend learning with matt, be it a complete beginner like myself or if you are further along and want advanced tuition, this is your guy!
