Lovely park, bit busy on weekend, beautiful trees, perfect for long walks with dogs

Beautiful and large area to wonder around, please note you may barely get the mobile signal, so if you are a ‘Always online’ kind, not a place. But it is a nice serene place to wonder around along with your kid, family and pets. There is a great cafe house and two large parking area for you. Parking is not free. I will recommend to visit to this place with your friends and families and you may have a small picnic too.

Went with a party of friends for a picnic and to see a new bench that has been placed at the Crossroads of paths dedicated to Karen Chilvers. It was a lovely peaceful setting and lots of walkers of all ages enjoying the space. We placed memorial pebbles near the bench and hope others will add to the Rock snake. There was an icecream van there and toilets and we had a very enjoyable day

My favourite local place. I walk from south to north. Have a coffee in the lovely essex Wildlife cafe and then walk back again. A lovely way to spend a morning. Especially if i see the horses, cows and goats.

Spent a lovely few hours down here today with a two year old and my 11 year old. Both had the best time exploring, tree climbing, leaf throwing, treasure hunting and of course we did the gruffalo trail. Plenty of parking available, we paid just over £3 for 2 hours. Toilets on site as well as a cafe and lots of picnic areas. Highly recommend, Great for dog walks, running, biking etc, definitely something for everyone.
