I had the pleasure of dealing with ryun directly to waterproof out front steps with mastic asphalt. from the minute the estimator came out to the final touches on the job, r j evans we’re superb. they were also very competitively priced. ryun really puts a lot of pride in his work and ensures the customer is completely satisfied. a true gent. i would not hesitate to recommend or use r j evans again. another thing to mention, they also do work for the tower of london replacing all the mastic asphalt in line with the heritage works. need i say any more!

I found this company on google and asked them for help and advice which was offered (unusually nowadays) without any hesitation or more importantly charge! they guided me in what they could do to help make our old felt covered flat roofs watertight again and provided their estimates without the need for a survey or a visit to inspect. liquid rubber coating - not the solution we were expecting but it seemed to be the answer! the scheduling of the work was a little haphazard but this was out of their control due to the adverse weather conditions. the team who arrived were both friendly and professional and carried out the work with minimal fuss. it would however have been helpful if we had been advised prior to their attendance that they would need 2 days rather than the 1 day they had been booked for. luckily that didn't create any issues. they completed the works and left the site clean and tidy although their van did leave a lot of unsightly oil stains on the new tarmac on our drive! we then had to chase the admin team for confirmation they had received the full payment and also to obtain the guarantee. but overall they were very professional and the work appears to be excellent although only time will tell. would we recommend them? yes we would without hesitation.

Absolutely delighted with the work done on my steps (mastic asphalt) which are now waterproof and also look very smart. would not hesitate to recommend this company.

They have been very helpful with a couple areas of work. firstly we needed an urgent flat roof survey for our neighbours who were selling their flat. they arranged everything really quickly and provided the report promptly. secondly we needed someone to bitumen covering on our external stairs. the works were being paid for by our insurance company and the company were being less than helpful with agreeing the costs. over a period of a year we had to keep asking for updated quotations for the insurance company. rj evans were very patient with us and provided the quotations without any issues. once we had the everything agreed by our insurance company we were able to book the works in very quickly. they turned up on the day the said they would start the works and carried them out within the timescales stated. everything has been finished to a good standard.

R j evans were excellent in refreshing my flat roof at the top of the house. from reaching out to them for a report for the insurance company, through to the application of the new flat roof finish the service has been excellent. highly recommended.
