Great staff who are very helpful. good signage to tell you how long the queue will take from different positions on the road. it's no problem to carry my drivers licence in my wallet to show i'm a resident, the council have put these measures in place to help manage our council budget. you can walk the dog in south weald when you're finished!

As long as you don’t take liberties and abide by the rules then this is the place to dispose of your unwanted items. glad to see that a booking process will come into play as from the 13th march 2023. this will help to keep the public from other areas away from this site which is quite rightly for the use of local residents only however, i fear we will see an increase in fly tipping around our beautiful countryside.

It gets a 4 star cos of friendly, helpful staff and the efficient booking system, but it's poorly designed. fancy having to lug heavy items up wobbly stairs..you can't hold onto handrails if your arms are full. other "recycling" centres have the skips lower than the road/walkways.

I found the staff very polite & helpful 🙂 the yard was clean and tidy, and i'm liking this new booking method.. as no more of long queues, and trying to find a place to park your car. easy to walk around and less of bumping into people... definitely a 👍
