Went for sunday lunch and the service was good. portions i thought were small but tasted nice. overall i thought the price was expensive…..£150 was a shock as drinks were very expensive. we had 2 gin and tonics and two glasses of wine!!!!!!
Really lovely food, reasonably price and great service, thoroughly recommend!
Superb restaurant with a clean, bright, stunning interior and equally impressive exterior with waiting staff to match. the food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented albeit slightly on the pricey side, but when the visit is as good as our little group experienced you really don’t mind paying a little bit more, and i never footed the bill on this occasion. i hope this being my first visit will be one of many more to come. i can safely say that compared with local top venues smiths, alecs and masons, the plough would rate amongst these 3 restaurants quite highly. i would also say this restaurant caters very much more for the adult palate although kids are welcomed and have a very small menu of there own to choose from.
We happened to be passing by chance and decided to stop for a drink, when we walked in the smell of the food was so good we asked if there was a table available for dining... so glad there was! having recently undergone a refurb the decor was fresh and classy, service was excellent and there was plenty to choose from on menu. food certainly did not disappoint .. the plough will definitely be a new regular for us
We came for a birthday on a sunday and it was wonderful. great atmosphere especially if you like to talk with loved ones over a good meal. the staff were incredible, welcoming and friendly. as for the food, it was amazing value for money and top quality too! it's not local to us but after today, i will find a reason to come back! 😃
