The best thai food i've had in essex and i have tried a lot of them. menu seems a little pricey at first but once the food arrives at your table and you start eating you realise it's worth it. the chicken melted in your mouth, the mushrooms were delicious and had so much flavour and the prawns were so fresh and beautifully prepared. i would recommend this to anyone who enjoys asian food and i will be making this my regular.
I went on sunday to fluffy rice and was really impressed with the food quality i received there. my partner and i ordered a starter of dumplings to share, which came with a delicious dipping sauce and generous filling, then i ordered for mains green curry with chicken and jasmine rice, the portions were generous and very flavourful. my partner had laab gai (thai chicken salad) and it was delicious. spicy and fragrant, it's about the only salad i've ever enjoyed. the staff were friendly and helpful when giving recommendations on what to chose, will be coming again when next in brentwood.
Cute little place to have thai food, set down the o far road not a million miles away from sainsbury. good food, nicely presented with great service. the venue size means you can probably only get about 12 - 14 people in it, so probably more of a takeaway venue! all in all very nice 2/3 courses each for 5 people cost us around £140 this included multiple drinks. i can’t eat gluten and the place will have you covered in that respect.
This is, by far, the best thai food served in the local area for authenticity. i had the pad grapao, which in restaurants in the uk is normally very different from thai style. but this dish was 100% authentic and i could have very easily been in a restaurant in chiang rai. very friendly staff with the permanent 'thai smile' and good conversation. we will definitely be coming back.
