GENTLE PAWS

I’ve attended two of Sharron’s workshops. I attended the lead walking and recall session with my year old dog and he came on leaps and bounds. After an attack by another dog, my dog became defensive on lead so I attended the reactive lead walking workshop. He went from not being able to tolerate any dogs near him to now being able to be off lead on a beach full of dogs! His progress has been amazing thanks to Sharron. I would recommend to anyone struggling with their dog or even just to have fun and build the relationship with your dog. Thank you Sharron!

Having taken our Puppy, a Border Collie, Milo for training at Gental Paws. We can honestly say that it was a huge benefit and help, to get our puppy to listen and react to us. The classes were great, informative and Milo responded extremely well to the training. Sharon helps you understand why and how the methods work, from your puppy/dogs point of view. Which in turn helped us understand a lot better. We now have a puppy who can sit, lay, leave, and and come at our request. On top of all the other training we did along side this. Will definitely be a returning customer with Milo for his next stage of progression. Have already recommended to other owners we’ve met on walks.

We were recommended to Gentle Paws and it’s is honestly the best thing that has happened to us. We have a 4 month old Golden retriever that Sharon has helped work wonders with. We took the 4 week puppy training classes and the improvement was substantial in many areas such as walking on lead, recall and obedience. I honestly cannot fault the service provided by Gentle Paws in anyway, we will certainly be revisiting for additional workshops and training classes in the future. Sharron was brilliant with my dog. He is a rescue and was extremely reactive to other dogs/motorbikes/cyclists/runners/birds/cars- pretty much everything that moved. I was getting so stressed but we went to see Sharron and she gave us some techniques to help and within weeks he was so much better. It’s improved both his and my confidence. He is now a joy to go on walks and days out with and he’s even got a few doggy friends which was unimaginable when I first got him. Can’t thank Sharron enough.

Fantastic training and advice for my 11 month old puppy. Sharron has provided me with the skills to train my puppy to be sociable, well behaved and the confidence to let him off the lead knowing he will come back to me. A great setting with a secure field for training and even on our last session today with torrential rain the session went ahead in the barn. Highly recommend Gentle Paws for dog training.
