GR Dog Training

Hi i’d just like to Share my experience with GR Dog training. I have a Golden Doodle called Henry, 🦮 who is 20 months, and is full of energy and mischief🙈 He’s been going to GR Dog training for a few months now and the change in him is just remarkable .😊 He’s very sociable with other dogs and was just so excited he was relentless with them but, he’s learned respectful play, so he’s not so boisterous when we meet other dogs, which makes things so much more enjoyable, all this has happened at the centre. We’ve had 121 sessions at home with Dyfryg who was amazing with him and worked on his obedience which has helped my confidence too , so now I’ve been able to remove the baby gate from the stairs and I can open the front door and he doesn’t make a run for it any more he listens when I tell him to stay👍 He’s so much better on the lead, after it was recommended to use a slip lead, he responds to correction making walks a pleasure for us both, and when I have friends around he’s so much calmer and well behaved, he used to be a pain jumping and mouthing everyone but he doesn’t do that anymore. 🙏 We’re currently working on reactive behaviour with other dogs as he gets so excited when he’s sees another dog, and on recall, but that’s work in progress currently. I would absolutely recommend GR Dog Training all the staff I’ve met have been very friendly and helpful, and they are just excellent with the dogs. The best decision I made was to send Henry to the centre 1day a week it’s worth every penny. Thank you for your help and support . Lorraine Teesdale

GR dog training honestly are by far the most caring and understanding people I have met. They genuinely care for your dogs and they were really understanding and sympathetic to my situation. They boarded my dog for 4 months in total and she was always happy to go back in the unit after me paying visits. You could tell she loved being there and was excited to go in. The prices are great and they go above and beyond to make your dog feel at home. Laura was amazing and you could tell what a special bond her and my dog had. I couldn’t of asked for anyone better to look after her and I will recommend this company to everyone. Thank you guys for looking after Izzy and helping me through a horrendous few months :) you made a hard few months bearable and I now have a lot calmer and content dog :)

Wonderful experience so far, our rescue from Bosnia has come on such a long way with just 5 training sessions, he’s interacting with other dogs without aggression, he’s trusting humans so much easier now and he’s a generally happier dog, thanks to the team for all the hard work

Knowledgeable and friendly staff who put the safety and progress of the dogs above all else. Really reassuring for a pet owner to see such confidence from the people here. Brilliant service both on site and at home; seeing significant results after just one session.
